Join our Enterprise Technology & Performance team as a Senior ABAP Consultant in Hyderabad. We're seeking an experienced professional to drive functional excellence and innovation within our SAP landscape.

This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and supporting robust SAP ABAP solutions. You will be instrumental in transforming business requirements into high-quality technical implementations that foster long-term growth.

We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in ABAP development, capable of working independently and collaborating effectively to deliver critical project outcomes.

Design, develop, and support comprehensive SAP ABAP solutions, focusing on RICEFW objects including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.

Prepare detailed technical specifications, analyze functional requirements, and develop various report types such as classical, interactive, and ALV reports.

Implement sophisticated interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs, and other integration mechanisms. Leverage enhancement techniques like BAdIs, user exits, and enhancement spots to customize SAP functionalities.

Develop and maintain essential SAP forms (Smart Forms, SAPscript, Adobe Forms) and support data migration using tools like BDC and LSMW.

Perform in-depth debugging, root-cause analysis, and code optimization for enhanced system performance. Conduct technical unit testing, support integration testing, and resolve defects efficiently.

Ensure adherence to SAP development standards through code reviews and collaboration with functional consultants across SAP modules.

Provide technical guidance to junior team members and coordinate with global teams to manage risks and communicate project progress effectively.

We require a seasoned SAP ABAP developer with 8-12 years of extensive experience, particularly in developing and supporting RICEFW objects. A strong command of ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, modularization, function modules, and object-oriented ABAP is essential.

Proficiency in various interface technologies (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, proxy interfaces) and enhancement techniques (BAdIs, user exits) is crucial. Experience with Smart Forms, SAPscript, and Adobe Forms is also required.

Demonstrated expertise in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning is a must. Familiarity with SAP transport management, development lifecycle processes, and preparing technical specifications and code reviews is expected.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA, including CDS views, AMDP, OData services, and SAP Gateway, is highly desirable. Exposure to ABAP Development Tools in Eclipse and an understanding of SAP Fiori integration are beneficial.

Knowledge of SAP workflows, flexible workflows, and experience in SAP implementation, rollout, or upgrade projects are key. Understanding clean core principles and modern SAP development practices will set you apart.

Previous experience in the Life Sciences, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry is advantageous. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering is required.
