This role is crucial for developing and integrating cutting-edge SONiC-based networking platforms. We seek individuals with a deep understanding of Embedded Linux, C/C++, Linux kernel, and robust network platform development.

Your expertise will be vital in debugging complex Linux kernel and hardware-related issues. Experience with networking hardware like ASICs, DSPs, FPGAs, and Ethernet devices is expected. Valuable additional experience includes working with low-level hardware interfaces and L0/L1 optical networking platforms.

Your primary responsibilities will involve developing, customizing, integrating, and maintaining SONiC-based networking solutions. You will enhance networking and platform software using C and C++, designing and developing software for L0/L1 optical networking products on Embedded Linux.

This includes board bring-up, BSP/platform integration, hardware-software integration, and validation. You will design, implement, and troubleshoot Linux kernel drivers and platform services, addressing kernel panics, crashes, and performance bottlenecks. Integrating and validating hardware components and working with low-level hardware interfaces are also key duties. You will also debug and support SONiC platform services, containers, and networking features, contributing to feature enhancements and performance optimization.

We are looking for seasoned professionals with 4-9 years of experience in SONiC development and network engineering. A strong background in Embedded Linux, C/C++, and Linux kernel development is essential.

Proven experience in developing and integrating SONiC-based networking platforms, along with debugging hardware and kernel issues, is required. Familiarity with networking hardware such as ASICs, DSPs, FPGAs, and Ethernet devices is a must. Experience with low-level hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, PCIe, GPIO, UART, SerDes, SGMII) and optical networking platforms is highly advantageous. Understanding SONiC database architecture (Configuration DB, State DB, Redis) and performing platform-level debugging across various layers are critical for success in this role.
