This role focuses on maintaining high coding and billing standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving operational excellence. You will be instrumental in enhancing patient care by optimizing the connection between clinical services and administrative processes.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include managing coding and billing compliance, monitoring KPIs like productivity and quality, and ensuring quick turnaround times through data analysis. You will lead and develop assigned project teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Managing client relationships, analyzing performance reports, and driving process improvements are also critical aspects of this role.

This position involves providing strategic input for operational planning, developing retention strategies, and managing attrition. You will also be responsible for preparing business plans and budgets, resolving conflicts, and providing regular performance feedback and coaching to staff to ensure goal achievement and continuous development.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences, Allied Medicine (BHMS, BAMS, BPT, Dental Grads, Pharmacist, Nursing), or a related field. A certified coder (AAPC/AHIMA - CCS/CPC/CPC-H/CCS-P) with over 10 years of coding experience, including at least 3 years in a Team Lead capacity, is required.

Essential qualifications include a thorough understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology, along with proficiency in healthcare reimbursement methodologies. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are paramount. Demonstrated ability in team leadership, coaching, employee engagement, and driving customer satisfaction is crucial for success in this role.
