This role focuses on Treasury Accounting operations within the Reval Treasury Management System, ensuring precise accounting generation, thorough reconciliation, diligent validation, and seamless integration with Oracle General Ledger. You will collaborate closely with Treasury, Accounting, Finance Systems, and Technology teams to provide essential support for treasury instruments, month-end close processes, accounting controls, and ongoing system enhancements.
Key responsibilities include managing and executing Reval accounting processes, generating and scrutinizing Reval journal entries for treasury transactions, and supporting accounting activities for a variety of financial instruments like investments, debt, money market funds, FX hedges, and interest rate swaps. You will ensure accurate accounting treatments and adherence to treasury accounting policies. Additionally, you will perform cash and non-cash journal entry validations, reconcile Reval entries against treasury payment reports, and investigate accounting variances. Collaboration with Finance Systems on Reval-to-Oracle GL interfaces and monitoring journal loads are crucial. This role also involves supporting COA mapping, participating in system testing and enhancements, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and audit evidence. You will also work closely with various teams including Treasury Front Office, Accounting, and Consolidations, while providing expertise on Treasury Management System processes and controls.
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is required, alongside a minimum of 5 years of experience in Treasury Accounting or Treasury Systems. Demonstrable hands-on experience with the Reval Treasury Management System is essential, as is experience supporting global treasury operations. Strong knowledge of treasury products, including debt, investments, FX derivatives, and hedging instruments, is necessary. Familiarity with Oracle EBS/Fusion GL integration and advanced Excel and reconciliation skills are highly valued. A solid understanding of SOX controls and audit requirements is also expected.
