As a Senior Audio Software Development Engineer, you will be instrumental in the design, implementation, optimization, and support of advanced audio functionalities across Amazon's newest devices. You will delve into DSP firmware, Linux drivers, and middleware for embedded audio systems. Responsibilities include designing audio features for diverse embedded products, developing audio software for ARM/DSP across various operating systems, and optimizing audio and speech processing algorithms.

Further duties involve integrating vendor hardware and software stacks, fine-tuning hardware for superior audio performance and minimal noise, and collaborating effectively within a peer environment. A minimum of 8 years of professional software development experience, excluding internships, is required. This includes at least 8 years in leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, encompassing design patterns, reliability, and scaling. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is necessary, along with proven experience in developing audio software for DSP/ARM, Linux audio driver development, and Android audio platform development.
