This individual contributor role focuses on quality assurance for digital experiences. The position involves programming, utilizing web services tools, and working with JavaScript modules. Key challenges include modifying JavaScript modules for cross-browser compatibility, developing and debugging web services, creating REST APIs and XML-SOAP messages, and employing structured programming techniques. This role also supports the development of the software quality assurance test strategy and collaborates with senior team members on project plans.

The associate will complete assignments and support business projects by applying subject matter expertise. Responsibilities include developing work plans, ensuring adherence to procedures, coordinating resources, and collaborating cross-functionally to make sound business decisions. Complex problems will be addressed, and high-priority issues or risks will be escalated as needed. Continuous improvement opportunities will be identified and acted upon.

This role involves identifying, defining, and mitigating complex issues, determining testing scope and approach, and collaborating with IT and business stakeholders for approval. Ensuring test plans and timelines align with project milestones is crucial. The associate will lead and assist in developing QA test project strategies, methodologies, and standard processes for complex IT initiatives across multiple QA domains, analyzing business and technology requirements for testability.

Key duties include reviewing and validating testable business processes, test data, and test environment requirements. Adherence to entry and exit criteria according to Kaiser testing standards will be ensured. The associate will manage the development of test scenarios and execution of test cases across all testing phases, including SIT, Performance, UAT, Automation, Production, and Validation. Generating scheduled reports and providing daily test execution metrics to IT teams and management is also required. Collaboration with cross-functional IT teams for test plan buy-in and tracking quality metrics across testing phases are essential functions.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience in SQA, software testing, or a related area. Equivalent work experience may substitute for the degree requirement. A minimum of three years of experience in automated testing practices and generating test automation scripts is essential, covering tools like Selenium, Karate, and SoapUI.

Furthermore, at least one year of experience in debugging code and analytics tags in web or mobile applications using tools like Chrome developer tools is required. Optional but beneficial skills include knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Azure, and Kubernetes. Experience with web services technologies, mobile technologies, interacting with leadership, and working in large, matrixed organizations is also advantageous.
