Join our team as a Senior Associate, specializing in API testing within our Engineering as a Service/Operate division. This role focuses on enhancing software quality assurance strategies and contributing to project planning. A strong understanding of programming concepts, JavaScript, and Web Services is essential, with a mandatory requirement for Karate framework proficiency for API test automation and debugging.

This is an individual contributor role that collaborates closely with senior team members. The position emphasizes developing test strategies, contributing to project plans, and ensuring the quality of software deliverables through rigorous testing processes. You will be instrumental in identifying and mitigating risks, documenting defects, and reviewing functional specifications to ensure testability.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of three years of experience in SQA or software testing. Equivalent work experience may be considered. Proficiency in test automation using Java for at least one year is required, along with experience in test management and defect tracking tools.

- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans. - Write and maintain test cases for various testing phases, including SIT, Performance, UAT, and Automation. - Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with development teams for resolution. - Review functional specifications and business requirements to ensure testability. - Automate API tests using the Karate framework, ensuring robust debugging capabilities. - Generate regular reports on test execution progress, defect status, and quality metrics. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business problems and achieve project goals.
