This role within the Strategy and Transactions (SaT) - Transaction Capital Finance (TCF) - Financial Diligence team in Mumbai is central to complex deals. You will work with leading global organizations, rapidly growing companies, and private equity firms, advising them on increasing value and mitigating risks during transactions. Your insights will be crucial in navigating the complexities of the deal lifecycle.

As part of the Transaction Diligence team, you will execute work for a diverse client base, taking independent responsibility for smaller engagements. You will develop strong relationships with client management and ensure adherence to risk management strategies and activities. Your role involves identifying and escalating risk issues to management.

Key responsibilities include supporting knowledge sharing initiatives, improving team processes for knowledge capture and leverage, and identifying new opportunities within existing client portfolios. You will also network internally to understand potential client issues and contribute to the team's success.

To excel in this role, you should possess a Chartered Accountant qualification with a strong academic record and 1-8 years of relevant post-qualification experience. Essential skills include a deep understanding of the target company's business, competitive positioning, financial analysis of historical and projected information, and identifying deal issues.

You will be adept at analyzing transaction risks, advising on deal structuring, and possess strong analytical, communication (written and oral, including report writing), and client relationship-building skills. Prior experience in due diligence within an M&A team, a Big 3 CA firm, or Big 4 audit and assurance practice with due diligence exposure is required. Industry experience in data analysis, MIS, and project handling is also crucial.
