As a Resource Management Senior Associate, you will serve as the staffing lead for your assigned region or team, collaborating with service delivery managers to implement efficient resource management processes. Your role involves tracking, monitoring, and analyzing demand pipeline projections, new deals, and staffing needs.
You will assess internal capacity, review hiring pipelines, and assign projects to available workforce members based on required skills and experience. Additionally, you will supervise, train, and delegate tasks to associate team members. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with WFM policies, implementing staffing plans to minimize unfulfilled demands, and coordinating with project managers to capture and validate demand details.
This role requires performing demand-supply searches, identifying optimal staffing solutions from internal resources, and updating employee schedules. You will also resolve scheduling conflicts, minimize bench time through proactive deployment, and be responsible for meeting KPIs like employee utilization and time to fulfill demand. Reporting and analytics on operational KPIs, along with mentoring associates, are also integral parts of this position.
To excel in this role, you should be a Graduate with 4-7 years of experience in workforce management. A solid understanding of business models and the operational and financial aspects of service delivery is essential. Strong analytical skills are required to compute staffing demands, validate skills, and identify suitable fulfillment options from internal resources.
Key qualifications include excellent domain knowledge in resource management, demand planning, and MIS. You should possess strong execution skills focused on meeting timelines and delivering high-quality service, coupled with a solution-oriented mindset. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is necessary, alongside excellent verbal and written communication, teaming, and interpersonal skills.
Ideally, you will also bring at least 1 year of experience in people management and supervision, along with strong stakeholder management abilities. Prior experience working within a reputable consulting, technology, financial services, accounting, or professional services organization is advantageous. We are looking for self-motivated professionals with a proven track record in workforce management, a knack for numbers, and a willingness to learn and negotiate.
