As an Atlassian Platform Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation and effective utilization of our Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence. Your role will involve close collaboration with various teams to align tool capabilities with business objectives, driving productivity and process improvements.

Your responsibilities will include comprehensive administration of Atlassian products, ensuring peak performance and reliability. You will be tasked with configuring and customizing Jira projects, workflows, and permissions to precisely match business needs. Additionally, you'll provide essential support for existing integrations and troubleshoot end-user issues promptly. A key aspect of this role involves identifying automation opportunities to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency, contributing significantly to project implementations and product enhancements.

We require a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology or Computer Science, coupled with 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Atlassian platform management. A solid understanding of Jira, Confluence, and associated plugins is essential, with a preference for Jira Cloud experience. Proficiency in Groovy/Python and SQL is mandatory for this role. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, alongside strong communication and collaboration skills, are crucial for success. Experience with both cloud and on-premise Atlassian instances is considered a significant advantage.
