Seeking an experienced SAP HCM Consultant to expertly configure, implement, and support SAP Human Capital Management modules, including Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, and Payroll. This role involves close collaboration with HR and business stakeholders to architect and deploy system solutions that streamline core HR processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance standards.

This position focuses on translating complex HR business requirements into effective SAP HCM configurations. You will be instrumental in designing and optimizing system functionalities to enhance efficiency and accuracy in HR operations.

Key competencies include a strong configuration and troubleshooting discipline across interconnected HR sub-modules, client-facing consulting, and effective stakeholder management. The ability to manage multiple concurrent support tickets or project workstreams, coupled with a solid grasp of payroll and time compliance, is essential for success in this dynamic role.

Configure and maintain core SAP HCM modules (PA, OM, Time Management, Payroll). Design and implement essential HR structures like infotypes, enterprise/personnel structures, and organizational hierarchies. Lead requirements-gathering sessions with HR stakeholders to translate business processes into SAP HCM configurations. Develop and manage time schemas, work schedules, and absence/attendance quotas. Support payroll configuration, schema modifications, wage type setup, and integration with Finance/Controlling.

Manage integrations between SAP HCM and other systems (SuccessFactors, third-party payroll/benefits) using ALE/IDocs, PI/PO, or CPI. Conduct comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Create detailed functional specifications, configuration documentation, and end-user training materials. Provide ongoing production support, addressing break-fixes, root-cause analysis, and enhancements. Ensure compliance with statutory/regulatory reporting and legal updates.

Stay abreast of SAP HCM support packs, legal changes, and industry best practices, assessing their impact on existing configurations. Experience with SAP SuccessFactors PMGM configuration and administration is also a key area of focus. Proficiency in creating reports and dashboards within SAP SuccessFactors or related BI tools is beneficial.

A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Candidates should possess 3-6 years of hands-on experience configuring SAP HCM modules (PA, OM, Time Management, and/or Payroll). A strong understanding of core HR business processes, including hire-to-retire, organizational management, time and attendance, and payroll processing, is essential.

Demonstrated experience with infotype configuration, dynamic actions, feature configuration (e.g., ABKRS, LGMST), and PCR/schema modification is expected. Familiarity with SAP HCM integration points (FI/CO, SuccessFactors, third-party interfaces) is necessary. While not mandatory, working knowledge of ABAP debugging for troubleshooting purposes is a significant advantage. Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills are paramount.

Preferred qualifications include SAP HCM certification in PA/OM, Time Management, or Payroll, and experience with SAP HCM-to-SuccessFactors hybrid/side-by-side deployments. Exposure to SAP S/4HANA HR or Employee Central integration scenarios is also advantageous. A consulting background from a Big 4 firm, SAP partner, or systems integrator is a plus. Successful completion of at least two full life-cycle SAP HCM implementations is a strong indicator of suitability.
