Join a dynamic team responsible for the backend infrastructure powering numerous company products and services. This role is crucial for ensuring exceptional customer experiences and supporting internal engineering teams. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining the systems that drive our media, advertising, and distribution businesses, focusing on innovation and solving complex technical challenges.
As a Senior Technical Analyst, you will ensure the health of production systems at a global scale. This involves managing shifts, escalations, maintaining runbooks, and improving alert quality. You will also contribute to building robust operational practices for confident service onboarding and support. The Technical Operations group is one of three complementary teams focused on production readiness, reliability, and operational excellence.
As a key member of the Technical Operations team, you will act as the primary responder for assigned service teams. This includes monitoring production systems, responding to alerts, and leading triage and escalations within a 24x7 operational framework. You will also be responsible for owning and maintaining runbooks, tuning alert thresholds, and ensuring high alert quality to reduce noise. Leading the onboarding of new services, validating monitoring, alerting, and documentation against production readiness criteria is also a core duty. Additionally, you will participate in blameless post-incident reviews, drive and monitor production deployments, automate repetitive tasks using Python, and support capacity management and load testing. Mentoring junior analysts and providing day-to-day guidance will be essential.

Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and operational tooling is a must, along with experience in writing and maintaining runbooks and operational documentation. A deep knowledge of distributed systems, their development, operations, observability, scalability, and elasticity is required. Experience working within operational teams supporting technical infrastructure and the ability to dive deep into technical components while documenting workflows and architecture are key. Clear, succinct written and verbal communication skills, with a practical, collaborative approach, are also vital.
Preferred qualifications include experience onboarding services, familiarity with Kubernetes, containerization, and CI/CD concepts, and knowledge of AWS cloud costs, capacity management, and optimization. Experience with query languages like SQL or GraphQL, and RESTful APIs, alongside backend capacity management or load testing, is beneficial. Experience in multitenant, consumer-facing, or media and streaming environments, along with ITIL or comparable service management experience, is a plus. Leveraging AI tooling to accelerate operational work is also an advantage.
