This role seeks a Senior Network Automation Engineer to lead initiatives within a vibrant team supporting streaming services. You will be instrumental in automating the configuration, management, and remediation of our network infrastructure.

Design, configure, test, and maintain robust network automation tools and processes. Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to refine automation and monitoring requirements.

Author and uphold comprehensive documentation for automation applications and scripts. Engage in code reviews to uphold the team's high standards for software quality. Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

A minimum of 7 years of experience in Network Automation is essential. Proficiency in configuring routers and switches, and automating network deployments and configurations is required.

Demonstrated experience in Python programming and Ansible playbook design/execution is crucial. Familiarity with Python Web Application Frameworks (e.g., Flask, Django), database management, web services (REST, gRPC), and CI/CD environments is expected.

Strong knowledge of network security procedures and best practices, along with the ability to leverage vendor APIs for network device configuration and data retrieval, is necessary. Working knowledge of common network monitoring and security utilities, Linux-based operating systems, and container virtualization technologies is also important.

A commitment to learning new technologies and maintaining industry knowledge is vital. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are expected, along with strong customer presentation abilities. A Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering, is required.
