Join our dynamic team as a Media Streaming Engineer, playing a crucial role in ensuring content integrity and operational excellence.

This position involves serving as a primary resource for troubleshooting complex metadata and A/V issues, collaborating closely with Content Management and Publishing teams.

Your expertise will be vital in auditing content against quality standards, monitoring systems for alerts, and performing essential asset management tasks. You will also contribute valuable data and trend insights to drive operational objectives and evangelize our content specifications to external partners.

Maintaining accurate documentation and runbooks through regular refinement is essential. Communicating technical challenges and operational needs effectively to diverse stakeholders is a core duty, along with providing feedback on workflows to enhance scalability and contribute to the evolution of our content toolset.

This role requires managing multiple tasks concurrently, responding effectively to issues, and leveraging cross-domain expertise to drive project execution and product enhancements.

We seek candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in digital distribution, post-production, or digital asset management. A relevant educational background, including BE/B.Tech, MCA, BCA, or M.Tech, is required.

Mastery of digital video delivery, including understanding various video specifications, ingest platforms, content metadata schemas, and content management systems, is crucial. Exceptional communication skills are a must for presenting requirements, challenges, and solutions to both internal and external teams.

Strong knowledge of the entire digital content lifecycle, from production through distribution, including post-production, QC, packaging, and delivery, is expected. Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, and Scrum methodologies, along with experience in specifications and standards documentation and emerging video/audio encoding technologies (4K/UHD, HDR, Atmos), is highly desirable.
