We are seeking a Senior Associate with expertise in Guidewire Integration to join our Engineering as a Service/Operate team in Hyderabad. This role offers technical ownership of Guidewire solutions, ensuring platform stability, scalability, and alignment with enterprise standards. You will go beyond individual delivery to define technical direction, uphold quality, and guide engineering teams, serving as the primary technical escalation point.

Key responsibilities include owning the technical design and implementation of Guidewire solutions across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and Digital platforms. You will lead solution design for complex requirements, ensuring optimal use of Guidewire's out-of-the-box capabilities and minimal customizations.

Provide technical leadership across squads, governing solution designs, code, and configurations. You will set and enforce engineering standards, support estimation and planning, and act as the technical authority during delivery trade-offs. Focus on integration architecture quality and ensure non-functional requirements like performance and scalability are met. Lead root-cause analysis for incidents and drive permanent fixes to improve platform stability. Collaborate closely with Business Systems Analysts and Product Owners to shape solution options and translate technical concepts for stakeholders.

Mentor junior developers, build technical depth within teams, and drive the adoption of reusable components to reduce costs and complexity.

We require 1-3 years of Guidewire development experience with strong expertise across multiple Guidewire products such as PC, CC, and BC. Significant experience with complex integrations and distributed systems is essential.

Proven ability to manage technical delivery across multiple teams or modules, coupled with a strong understanding of P&C insurance processes and regulatory context, is crucial. Experience owning production stability and operational outcomes, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, are mandatory.

Preferred qualifications include experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP), DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD, and observability tools. Experience leading large-scale Guidewire programs or working in regulated, multi-business unit enterprise environments is a plus.
