Seeking a seasoned Guidewire Developer to take technical ownership of Guidewire solutions across various domains. This role demands deep technical expertise, solution leadership, and operational accountability to ensure stable, scalable, compliant, and enterprise-aligned Guidewire platforms. Beyond individual contributions, you will steer technical direction, uphold quality, and ensure reliability, mentoring both senior and junior engineers.

As a key technical escalation point, you will guide teams through complex challenges and drive optimal technical outcomes for assigned areas. Your impact will be instrumental in shaping the future of our Guidewire implementations.

Take full technical ownership of Guidewire solutions, including design and implementation across Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center, Digital platforms, Integrations, and APIs. Lead complex solution design decisions, maximizing out-of-the-box Guidewire capabilities while justifying customizations. Partner with architects to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.

Provide technical leadership, review designs and code, and enforce engineering standards. Support planning and estimation for complex initiatives, acting as the technical authority during trade-offs. Own integration architecture quality and ensure non-functional requirements like performance and scalability are met. Guide teams on cloud-native patterns, DevSecOps, and observability. Drive root-cause analysis for incidents, reducing defect leakage and improving platform stability. Collaborate with stakeholders to shape solutions and translate technical concepts clearly.

A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Guidewire development is essential, coupled with strong expertise across multiple Guidewire products such as PC, CC, BC, and Jutro. You should possess robust experience with complex integrations and distributed systems, alongside a proven track record of managing technical delivery across multiple teams or modules. A solid understanding of P&C insurance processes and regulatory context is required, as is experience in owning production stability and operational outcomes. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills are critical for this role.
