Join our Engineering as a Service/Operate team as a Senior Business Analyst specializing in Guidewire Platforms. This role is pivotal in transforming business requirements into actionable functional specifications for Guidewire initiatives. You will act as a senior member of Agile teams, ensuring clarity, testability, and alignment of requirements with Guidewire capabilities and organizational standards.

Focusing on robust execution and deep functional understanding, you will take increasing ownership of both ongoing operations and change management activities, contributing to delivery reliability across Guidewire projects.

Analyze business needs for Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter, translating them into Epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Prioritize out-of-the-box Guidewire capabilities while detailing necessary configurations or customizations. Identify functional gaps and dependencies within underwriting, claims, billing, and finance operations.

Partner closely with Product Owners, Business SMEs, and Delivery Leads to clarify objectives and priorities, contributing to impact analyses and solution options. Ensure requirements align with established process models and product standards. Own the quality and readiness of backlog items, ensuring user stories are complete, unambiguous, and testable for development.

Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as discovery workshops, sprint planning, and reviews. Collaborate with developers, quality engineers, and release teams, providing functional clarification and support for testing activities, including UAT. Provide functional support for L2/L3 production incidents, assisting with root-cause analysis and defect triage. Adhere to established functional standards and promote the reuse of designs and patterns. Mentor intermediate and junior Business Analysts, sharing best practices in requirement writing and Guidewire knowledge.

A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in enterprise settings is essential. Proven hands-on experience with the Guidewire Insurance Suite, coupled with a solid understanding of Property & Casualty insurance business processes, is required.

Demonstrated experience working effectively within Agile delivery teams is crucial. Candidates must possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills. The capacity to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders is a key requirement for success in this role.
