This role is pivotal in transforming business needs into robust, implementable functional requirements for Guidewire initiatives. You will operate as a senior member within Agile frameworks, ensuring clarity, testability, and alignment with Guidewire's capabilities and organizational standards. The position emphasizes strong execution, deep functional knowledge, and growing responsibility in both operational support and project delivery.

Key responsibilities include detailed functional analysis across Guidewire Policy Center, Billing Center, and Claim Center, translating business needs into user stories, and defining clear acceptance criteria. You will champion out-of-the-box solutions while justifying any necessary configuration or customization. Collaborating closely with Product Owners, SMEs, and Delivery Leads, you will shape requirements, support business cases, and ensure alignment with process models. Owning backlog item quality, participating actively in Agile ceremonies, and supporting testing phases are integral. Additionally, you will provide functional support for production incidents, contribute to root-cause analysis, and promote adherence to functional standards and best practices, acting as a mentor to junior BAs.

We are seeking candidates with 4-6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise settings, possessing strong hands-on expertise with the Guidewire Insurance Suite. A solid understanding of P&C insurance business processes and proven experience in Agile delivery teams are essential. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills are required to effectively engage with diverse business and technical stakeholders. Experience with multi-business unit delivery models, Guidewire Cloud transformations, production support, and integration architectures are considered advantageous.
