As a Software Engineer, you will architect and deliver resilient, scalable systems. You will lead architectural design, implement large-scale projects, and fix critical bugs while driving technical excellence. Mentoring senior engineers, facilitating cross-functional collaboration with Product, QA, and Design teams, and mediating disagreements to drive stakeholder alignment are key aspects of this role. You will also own and lead development projects, set architectural direction, and ensure scalability and maintainability, significantly influencing project and team outcomes.

Your contributions will broadly impact product and project success, measured by customer and operational objectives, with material impact on business outcomes. You will regularly drive innovation and technical strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and encouraging knowledge sharing to foster a strong team culture and performance.

We require at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record in designing and delivering production-grade applications. Strong proficiency in Python, Apache Spark, and advanced SQL is essential, alongside hands-on experience with data platforms like Databricks and Snowflake, and orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.

Expertise in data integration, ETL/ELT pipeline design, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices (CI/CD) is crucial. A deep understanding of cloud environments, particularly AWS, and experience with microservices architectures and data lakehouses are necessary. Experience integrating with APIs (RESTful, GraphQL) and handling data streaming frameworks like Kafka is also required.

Proficiency in Linux environments, object-oriented and functional programming paradigms, and an understanding of data governance, security, and observability best practices are expected. Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills are vital for success in this role. Experience working in Agile environments is a must.
