You will focus on data streams and integrations within the Music Integration Workstream, ensuring seamless data flow between our music metadata repertoire system and various upstream/downstream applications. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with internal and external teams to design, build, and manage scalable and efficient data integration solutions that power the music supply chain.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

- Demonstrating deep technical expertise across multiple domains, capable of independently tackling complex issues and leading the development of significant features. - Acting as a key technical resource within the team, effectively communicating complex topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Quality Assurance, and Design to deliver integrated solutions. - Leading the design and implementation of medium-scope software solutions, influencing future project directions. - Planning and documenting project requirements, ensuring alignment across technical teams. - Driving positive impact on team and project outcomes through technical leadership and effective problem-solving. - Contributing to the development of new tools and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

We are seeking candidates with:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a proven history of building and deploying production-ready applications. - Proficiency in Java and other JVM-based languages, leveraging extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Integration, and related frameworks. - A thorough understanding of the entire software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and documentation. - Strong experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SNS/SQS. - Expertise in relational databases, covering SQL, schema design, stored procedures, query optimization, and data modeling. - Hands-on experience designing and integrating APIs, including RESTful and event-based interfaces. - Working knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols like OAuth 2.0. - Experience with AWS cloud services such as S3, RDS, and VPC. - Familiarity with distributed caching solutions for high-performance systems. - Solid understanding of enterprise and data integration concepts and best practices. - Experience with modern observability tools for application monitoring and maintenance. - Proficiency in object-oriented and functional programming paradigms. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective cross-team interaction. - Strong time management and problem-solving capabilities. - Experience working within Agile development environments.

Additionally, a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
