As a Senior Associate in FP&A within the GDS ES Finance – Controlling team, you will be instrumental in delivering critical financial planning and analysis services. We provide robust reporting solutions and manage essential controlling processes like forecasting and financial planning, empowering better business decisions. Our commitment to business transformation, exemplified by projects like Mercury, ensures we continually expand our support for reporting and analytics needs across all regions.

Your core responsibilities will include managing global function planning, budgeting, and outlook exercises. You'll collaborate closely with budget holders, providing timely reporting and analysis of operating expenses and headcount variances. This role involves forecasting operational costs, preparing high-level analysis reports for leadership, and presenting monthly and quarterly financial reports. Ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for Turn Around Time (TAT) and accuracy is crucial. You will also review and deliver reports to EYG leadership, conduct invoice approvals, and coordinate with GL, AP, Billing, and Treasury teams to resolve client queries. Owning and reviewing EYG books of accounts, acting as a finance consultant, and managing quality compliance and process improvements are key aspects of this position. Additionally, you will work on internal projects, interact with clients to understand requirements, and manage transition activities, including developing backup plans and promoting cross-training.

To excel in this role, you need a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting, complemented by 3-5 years of core finance experience, specifically within Financial Planning and Analysis. Advanced Excel proficiency and strong accounting knowledge are essential. Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CGMA, or CFA are highly preferred. Success also hinges on possessing strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to make decisive judgments and demonstrate good business acumen. You should be adept at learning and applying EY's financial priorities and processes, understanding global cost and revenue drivers, and operating effectively across multiple sub-functions within the Global Finance team. Strategic thinking, client focus, and the ability to influence at a global level are also vital attributes for this position.
