Seeking a skilled Python Backend Developer with substantial expertise in Python, Go, containerized applications, and cloud environments. This role focuses on developing robust backend services, integrating essential observability tools, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS.

A proactive approach, exceptional debugging capabilities, and the ability to contribute across backend, monitoring, and platform engineering are crucial for success in this position.

Design and build backend services and development tools utilizing Python and Go, with the Gin framework. Develop, package, and deploy applications using Docker. Construct and refine REST APIs with Python and FastAPI. Conduct API testing and validation using Postman. Implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions with New Relic, Humio, and OpsRamp. Manage and deploy services on AWS, including EC2, Lambda, S3, and IAM. Resolve performance, reliability, and production issues within distributed systems. Collaborate with development, SRE, and DevOps teams to ensure efficient CI/CD pipelines and stable releases. Participate in incident investigations and implement durable solutions. Create internal documentation, runbooks, and deployment guides. Work with PostgreSQL for schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.

Essential skills include proficiency in Python, Go with the Gin framework, Docker, Postman, New Relic, OpsRamp, AWS, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL.

Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud-native applications, distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API development. Familiarity with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), or automation tools is beneficial.
