Join our dynamic team as a Data Engineer in Hyderabad. This role is pivotal in architecting, building, and managing robust data pipelines and platforms essential for analytics, reporting, and advanced AI/ML initiatives. You will tackle moderately complex data engineering challenges independently, collaborating closely with business and technology partners to deliver effective data solutions that meet enterprise-wide needs. Additionally, you'll serve as a key technical mentor to your colleagues, championing best practices and driving the continuous enhancement of our data infrastructure and engineering methodologies.
Key duties include designing and implementing scalable data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines, along with building and optimizing ETL/ELT workflows. You will translate business and customer requirements into technical data solutions, adeptly resolving non-standard data challenges. Responsibilities also encompass developing and maintaining data models, ensuring data quality and validation, and collaborating with diverse teams to deliver reliable data assets. Performance monitoring, optimization of pipelines for scalability and cost, and supporting cloud-based data platforms are critical. Adherence to data governance, security, lineage, and compliance standards is paramount, alongside creating comprehensive technical documentation and participating actively in code reviews to uphold engineering excellence.
We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, complemented by at least 3 years of experience in data engineering, software development, or big data. Essential skills include extensive experience in developing ETL/ELT pipelines, working with large datasets, and a solid understanding of data warehouses, data lakes, and modern data architectures. Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation is a must, alongside knowledge of major cloud data platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. A strong grasp of data modeling, data quality, and data governance principles is required, supported by excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities. The capacity to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities is also crucial.
