Join our dynamic team as a Senior Associate Data Engineer, focusing on developing and maintaining robust data pipelines and platforms that power analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to tackle moderately complex data engineering challenges independently, collaborating closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver impactful data solutions. You'll also serve as a technical mentor, guiding team members and driving continuous improvements in our data platforms and engineering practices.
Key responsibilities include designing, building, and optimizing scalable data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines. You will translate business requirements into effective technical data solutions, address intricate data challenges, and develop comprehensive data models and quality frameworks. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for delivering trusted data assets. Additionally, you'll monitor and enhance pipeline performance, support cloud-based data environments, and implement data governance and security standards. Creating technical documentation, participating in code reviews, and troubleshooting production issues to ensure sustainable solutions are also vital aspects of this role.
We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, coupled with 3+ years of experience in data engineering or big data development. A strong command of SQL and Python for data processing is essential, alongside hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale datasets. Familiarity with data warehouses, data lakes, and modern data architectures is required. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, and a solid understanding of data modeling, quality, and governance principles are crucial. Proven analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills are expected, along with the ability to work autonomously.
