Join our Engineering as a Service/Operate team in Bengaluru as a Data Engineer. This role is central to building and maintaining robust data pipelines and platforms that power our analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives.

You will tackle moderately complex data engineering challenges independently, collaborating closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions. As a technical guide, you'll mentor team members and drive continuous improvements in our data platforms and engineering processes.

Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines. Optimize ETL/ELT workflows for diverse data sources and develop innovative technical solutions to business requirements.

Address complex data challenges, build data models, and ensure data quality and governance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver trusted data assets and monitor/optimize pipeline performance for scalability and cost-efficiency.

Implement data governance, security, and compliance standards. Create technical documentation, review code, and troubleshoot production issues with a focus on root-cause analysis and sustainable solutions. Contribute to automation and CI/CD processes.

We require a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, coupled with at least 3 years of experience in data engineering or big data development.

Solid proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing is essential, alongside experience with data warehouses, data lakes, and modern data architectures. Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is a must.

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities independently are crucial for success in this role.
