You will also focus on writing clean, efficient code, optimizing applications for performance and reliability, managing database schemas and queries, and implementing robust authentication and data protection mechanisms. Active participation in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning, along with troubleshooting production issues and contributing to CI/CD pipelines, are essential aspects of this role.

A strong foundation in backend development is essential, with a proven track record in at least one backend language such as Java (Spring Boot), Node.js, Python (Django, Flask), or .NET Core. Proficiency with relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, as well as NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis, including data modeling and query optimization, is crucial. A thorough understanding of microservices architecture, API security (OAuth, JWT), asynchronous processing, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and caching strategies is expected.

Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), and containerization with Docker is necessary.
