Join NVIDIA's elite Graphics team, contributing to the design of cutting-edge memory subsystem components for industry-leading Graphics Processors. This role offers a significant opportunity to influence product lines across consumer graphics, autonomous vehicles, and artificial intelligence. You'll be part of a globally dispersed team pushing the boundaries of technological innovation and shaping the future of computing.
In this position, you will tackle architectural trade-offs, develop micro-architectures, implement RTL designs, and ensure the delivery of verified, synthesis-ready, and timing-clean solutions. Collaboration with architects, fellow designers, verification teams (pre- and post-silicon), synthesis, timing, and backend teams will be integral to your success.
Take ownership of micro-architecture and RTL development for design modules.
Design features to meet stringent performance, power, and area requirements.
Collaborate closely with hardware architects to define critical features.
Partner with verification teams to guarantee the correctness of implemented features.
Work with timing, VLSI, and Physical design teams to ensure designs meet timing and interface specifications, and are routable.
Engage with FPGA and software teams for design prototyping and software testing.
Contribute to post-silicon verification and debugging efforts.
A Bachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) degree, or equivalent experience, is required.
Possess a minimum of 7 years of relevant design experience.
Demonstrated experience in RTL design of complex units across at least two to three projects.
Familiarity with design and verification tools such as VCS (or equivalent simulation tools) and debug utilities like Debussy or GDB.
Exhibit a profound understanding of the complete ASIC design flow, encompassing RTL design, verification, logic synthesis, prototyping, DFT, timing analysis, floor-planning, ECO, bring-up, and lab debugging.
Expert proficiency in Verilog is essential.
Experience in memory subsystem or network interconnect IP design is a strong advantage. Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills are highly valued.
Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Perl, or shell is beneficial.
Previous leadership experience guiding small teams (2-3 members) is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit, with a desire to work effectively as part of a team, are crucial.
