Address complex technical challenges and make critical design choices to ensure the scalability, high availability, and multi-tenancy of cloud-based services. Proactively investigate issues, present viable solutions, and implement new functionalities or re-architect existing systems to accommodate evolving needs.

Collaborate closely with fellow development teams, product management, UX designers, and QA engineers to define and launch new product offerings while maintaining the integrity of existing systems. Work with diverse internal and external teams to facilitate seamless product integration and provide guidance.

Develop solutions involving database schema, business logic, and front-end components, adhering to industry-standard best practices for security, reliability, efficiency, and scalability. Mentor fellow engineers, contribute to recruitment efforts, and actively participate in agile ceremonies like daily scrums, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer engineering or a related field is required, coupled with over 6 years of software development experience and a demonstrated history of making sound technical decisions. A profound understanding of core computer science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and system architecture/design, is essential.

Exceptional problem-solving abilities are a must. Expertise in Java, encompassing advanced concepts like multithreading, concurrency, collections, and object-oriented design, is critical. Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, and web frameworks like React is necessary. Experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries, along with a strong grasp of database concepts and data-driven applications, is highly valued.

Demonstrated ability in designing complex solutions, providing architectural guidance on team projects, and conducting technical analysis and feasibility checks. Proficiency in creating test plans, utilizing CI/CD tools, testing web application UI aspects, and developing automated scripts is expected. Experience defining branching strategies and extensive use of version control systems like Git are important. Code review expertise and the promotion of good coding practices are key.

Good knowledge of the testing pyramid, code coverage, continuous integration, performance, and security testing. Exposure to various automation frameworks and the ability to design automation frameworks based on project requirements. Commitment to continuous learning in technology and processes, leading knowledge sharing, and coaching engineers at all experience levels are vital.

Agility in project execution, adaptability to changing project needs, and technical leadership across team projects are essential. Prior experience as a member of a scrum team and excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical, are required. Advanced HTML skills (HTML5, CSS3, XHTML, JSP) and experience with product-based companies are considered advantageous.
