Join our dynamic Strategy, Risk & Transaction team at Deloitte as a Senior Analyst. This role focuses on mitigating risk and uncovering value within financial and regulatory frameworks. You will be instrumental in ensuring the integrity and compliance of advanced financial models, contributing to robust risk management practices.

Our team offers end-to-end risk services, from strategic C-suite challenges to detailed cyber threat analysis. We are dedicated to helping entities navigate complex regulatory landscapes and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Perform independent validation of Advanced IRB/Foundation IRB models, including PD, LGD, EAD, and CCF methodologies, rating system design, and RWA assessment.

Evaluate model assumptions and methodologies for diverse wholesale exposures like corporate lending, project finance, and financial institutions.

Assess model conceptual soundness, data representativeness, risk differentiation, and calibration.

Review model segmentation, treatment of collateral, guarantees, credit mitigants, and default definitions.

Ensure regulatory compliance with Basel III/IV IRB requirements and regional supervisory rules.

Conduct model performance testing and prepare high-quality validation documentation with clear findings and remediation actions.

Support regulatory engagements and partner with internal teams to ensure model fitness-for-purpose.

We are seeking candidates with experience in corporate lending, project finance, commercial real estate, and private equity exposures.

Familiarity with stress testing frameworks (CCAR/ICAAP) and IRB-to-IFRS 9 model linkages is essential.

Demonstrated ability to articulate quantitative findings to non-technical senior stakeholders is key.
