Lead applied research in LLMs, generative AI, and multimodal models, evaluating state-of-the-art architectures such as Transformers and Diffusion Models. Design and implement scalable AI/ML pipelines using frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow. Deploy models into production leveraging MLOps best practices. Develop and iterate on AI/ML solutions, including Generative AI, by building prototypes and integrating models into services.
Support model experiments, evaluate performance with clear metrics, and optimize model training. Learn and apply Generative AI building blocks like RAG and prompt orchestration tools. Design and deploy AI-powered solutions for complex business challenges, emphasizing responsible AI use. Improve performance and cost through techniques like caching and batching, and explore model optimization methods.
Contribute to building and testing APIs and learn fundamentals of containers and app frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand business needs and communicate progress. Participate in design and code reviews, contributing to team standards for quality and trust. Design and implement AI systems for conversational search in medical content, evaluating and debugging them for accuracy and efficiency.
A graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. We are looking for 8+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, with a strong emphasis on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Language Models.
Demonstrated experience with libraries such as OpenAI API, Hugging Face Transformers, or similar tools for fine-tuning and integrating LLMs is essential. Candidates should also have experience with agentic frameworks, evidenced by contributions to projects involving the design of modular and scalable AI agents.
Familiarity with large-scale computing frameworks, data analysis systems, experimental methodologies, statistics, optimization, and probability theory is expected. Proficiency in coding for tool building and statistical analysis using general-purpose software and statistical languages is necessary.
