Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Security Program Manager specializing in Infrastructure Physical Security to join our global infrastructure services team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the continuous operation and security of AWS data centers worldwide. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the design, installation, and integration of critical security systems, including Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV Surveillance.

Lead the design and installation of physical security systems for new data centers, expansions, and special projects. Manage multi-million-dollar security project lifecycles, including bid packages, specifications, vendor management, and budgeting. Apply knowledge of emerging physical security technologies to enhance AWS security programs and provide expert guidance to leadership on technology and procedural decisions.
Effectively prioritize tasks, operate seamlessly across organizational boundaries, and oversee preventative maintenance and repairs for security system equipment. Ensure strict adherence to physical security standards, project scopes, budgets, and timelines. Develop and implement solutions for system installations, upgrades, and change management, while supporting system commissioning, testing, and project handoff. Create and deploy comprehensive training programs for all physical security system users.
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering or a related field is required. Candidates should possess over 10 years of experience in construction or project management, or 4+ years of electrical or mechanical engineering experience. A minimum of 10-12 years of experience managing projects, operations, installation, and maintenance of regional or global physical security systems is essential.
Additionally, 5+ years of cross-functional experience with both technical and non-technical teams is necessary, alongside 5+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics. Experience in driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership, as well as managing multiple stakeholders at various organizational levels, is highly preferred. Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, PgMP, SAFe, or SCRUM/Agile are advantageous.
