Engage in incident analysis, in-depth threat hunting, and root cause investigations. Develop, test, and implement sophisticated detection rules to identify potential threats. Evaluate client detection requirements, perform gap analyses, and fine-tune security configurations. Create automation playbooks and integrate them with SOAR platforms. Document best practices and author knowledge base articles to foster continuous improvement. Identify opportunities to enhance existing processes and workflows.

A Bachelor's Degree in computer science coupled with prior experience in information security or SOC operations is essential. A strong foundation in cybersecurity fundamentals, network defense, and the current threat landscape is crucial. Hands-on expertise with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and threat hunting tools is required, alongside proven ability in creating detection rules and automation playbooks. Familiarity with scripting languages and EDR products is desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong customer service, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities, are expected. The capacity to perform under pressure and demonstrate exceptional teamwork is vital. Proficiency in networking, Linux, and security concepts, along with experience with various security devices and log collection mechanisms, is also necessary.
