Our Information Security (InfoSec) unit focuses on preventing, detecting, responding to, and mitigating cyber risks, safeguarding EY and client data, and our information management systems. This role is key to enhancing our security analytics and reporting capabilities.
As a Security Data Engineer, you will design and maintain data pipelines for processing large datasets, utilizing SQL for ETL processes, and working with Data Bricks and Data Lake technologies. You will collaborate with security teams, create documentation, monitor pipeline performance, and develop data models to present security insights.
Key responsibilities include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines. - Utilizing SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). - Working with Data Bricks and Data Lake technologies. - Collaborating with security teams on data requirements. - Creating and maintaining documentation. - Monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines and quality. - Developing data models and visualizations. - Staying updated on data engineering and security analytics trends.
We are seeking candidates with a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience, bringing 7-10 years of Information Technology experience in a global firm.
Essential qualifications include: - Conceptual knowledge of security applications, technologies, operating systems, and Cloud. - Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role. - Strong SQL proficiency and data manipulation skills. - Hands-on experience with Data Bricks and Data Lake technologies. - Familiarity with security tools for data extraction. - Knowledge of data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing. - Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail. - Proficiency in Azure Cloud services and security tools. - Ability to build strong relationships in a global environment. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Knowledge of ITIL for incident, problem, and change processes.
