Join Google Cloud as a Security Customer Engineer and play a pivotal role in expanding our cybersecurity business. You'll be instrumental in building and strengthening relationships with both new and existing customers, serving as a trusted advisor and champion for our advanced security solutions.

This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen. You will engage with C-level executives, security leaders, cloud security architects, and security analysts, guiding them through complex projects and ensuring their success with Google Cloud's offerings. Your responsibilities will include exploring technology and solutions with customers, providing expert consultation on security and compliance, and optimizing production environments with empathy and innovative approaches to amplify team impact.

Engage with customers to identify and qualify business opportunities, adeptly handling technical objections and devising strategies to overcome them.

Collaborate directly with clients to showcase and develop prototypes of Google Cloud product integrations within their environments.

Provide expert recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure, adhering to best practices on Google Cloud.

Leverage your security expertise to foster strong technical relationships with customers. This includes delivering product and solution briefings and conducting proof-of-concept work, while partnering with product management to prioritize solutions that enhance customer engagement.

Deliver impactful customer-facing presentations and lead workshops, sharing your knowledge and acting as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required, or equivalent practical experience.

Possess a minimum of 10 years of robust experience in cybersecurity, with a specific emphasis on application security, secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices, and comprehensive vulnerability management, particularly within cloud-native or hybrid infrastructures.

Demonstrate substantial experience with cloud technologies and software development practices.

Preference will be given to candidates with a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

Experience with AI-powered security tools for automated vulnerability detection, exploit generation, and code fix remediation is highly valued.

Previous experience in a customer-facing technical role, including delivering product and solution briefings, collaborating with security leaders and technical teams, and optimizing for production results, is advantageous.
