Join Google Cloud as a Security Customer Engineer and play a pivotal role in expanding our cybersecurity business. You will build and nurture relationships with both new and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor and a passionate advocate for our advanced security solutions.

This role involves leveraging both technical expertise and business acumen to drive projects forward. You'll guide customers through technology and solution discovery, offering expert consultation on best practices for security and compliance. Your focus will be on optimizing results in production environments, demonstrating empathy, and finding innovative ways to amplify the team's overall impact and effectiveness.

Collaborate with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, thoroughly understanding customer technical objections and devising strategies to overcome them.

Engage directly with customers to showcase and develop prototypes of Google Cloud product integrations within their specific environments.

Provide expert recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure, ensuring adherence to best practices on Google Cloud.

Contribute your security expertise to foster strong technical relationships with customers, delivering product and solution briefings. Partner closely with product management to prioritize solutions that enhance customer engagement with Google Cloud.

Deliver compelling customer-facing presentations and conduct informative workshops, sharing your experience and establishing yourself as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience, is required.

Possess 10 years of robust experience in cybersecurity, with a significant focus on application security, secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices, and vulnerability management. Prior experience within cloud-native or hybrid environments is essential.

Demonstrated experience in cloud technologies and software development is a key requirement for this role.
