Key responsibilities include performing real-time log analysis for network and data security using log correlation platforms. You will evaluate malware using open-source and vendor tools, and respond to customer technical support requests via phone and electronic channels. Effective call processing and escalation, adhering to client Service Level Agreements (SLAs), will be managed through ticketing systems and standard operating procedures. Daily tasks encompass reporting, monitoring, and shift turnover logs.

Evaluate the type and severity of security events using packet analyses and a deep understanding of exploits and vulnerabilities. Develop and communicate resolution plans for system and network issues to both clients and internal technical teams. Contribute to knowledge sharing among analysts to create efficient customer solutions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local security policies and execute assigned general controls.

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, management information systems, or a comparable combination of education and experience. We are seeking individuals with 0-2 years of experience in incident handling, log management, antivirus, firewalls, and Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) systems. Proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving is essential.

Familiarity with network connectivity and protocols such as TCP/IP, VPNs, VLAN, NAT, and DHCP is required. Strong investigative and analytical problem-solving skills are a must. Previous customer service or support experience is advantageous, along with a solid understanding of current security events and a genuine passion for staying informed in the cybersecurity landscape.
