As a Security Center Operations Sr. Associate, you will perform real-time log analysis using correlation platforms to ensure client network and data security. Your role involves evaluating malware, responding to customer technical assistance requests via phone and electronic channels, and managing ticket processing with adherence to SLAs. You will also assess security event severity through packet analysis and exploit/vulnerability understanding, providing effective resolution plans.

Key responsibilities include confident communication of technical information to clients and internal teams, participating in knowledge sharing, and developing efficient customer solutions. Maintaining a working knowledge of local security policies and executing general controls are also essential aspects of this position.

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a comparable combination of education and experience. We require 0-2 years of experience in incident handling, log management, antivirus, firewalls, and SIEM systems. A strong foundation in root cause analysis and problem-solving is crucial.

Proficiency with network connectivity and protocols like TCP/IP, VPNs, VLAN, NAT, and DHCP is necessary. Excellent investigative and analytical problem-solving skills, along with proven customer service experience, are essential. A keen awareness of current security events and a demonstrated passion for staying informed are highly valued.
