Your responsibilities will include providing essential security monitoring, analyzing security events, and proposing effective countermeasures. You will also take a lead role in incident response efforts and develop custom content (queries, dashboards, reports) for leading SIEM tools like Splunk.

Further tasks involve supporting SOC engineering initiatives, such as tool integration and automation development, as well as evaluating and deconstructing malware. You will resolve client issues by implementing corrective actions or following escalation procedures, ensuring adherence to client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Additionally, you will perform daily shift tasks including reporting and monitoring, evaluate security event severity using packet analysis and exploit knowledge, and communicate technical information effectively to clients and internal teams. You'll also participate in knowledge sharing and maintain an understanding of security policies.

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience with SIEM or Splunk Enterprise Security is essential.

Key qualifications include strong written and verbal communication skills, proven experience in creating formal documentation (reports, slide decks, architecture diagrams), and expertise in root cause analysis and problem-solving. Investigative and analytical problem-solving skills, alongside customer service and support experience, are also vital for success in this role.
