Join gTech Risk Solutions Engineering as a Security Analyst and play a pivotal role in Google's security-first approach. This team is transforming from reactive to proactive, acting as a federated security partner to design and build tailored security solutions for the gTech ecosystem.

Your core mission will be upfront risk prevention through technical excellence, shifting the focus from managing incidents to designing preventative measures. You will collaborate closely with Facilities Management, developing innovative security strategies and risk assessment plans, ensuring confidentiality and effective security without compromising customer service.

Key responsibilities include constructing queries for robust data interpretation, identifying and mitigating risks across interconnected products and services, and participating in the triaging and documentation of cybersecurity incidents.

You will also autonomously manage threats, recommend process enhancements, and gain a deep understanding of attacker methodologies to suggest new detection mechanisms. This role offers a dynamic environment to contribute to a proactive security posture.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field, along with equivalent practical experience, is required. Candidates must possess at least 5 years of experience in security operations (SOC), incident response, threat hunting, or IT compliance.

Preferred qualifications include experience with log analysis, data querying using SQL, monitoring security controls, and coordinating cross-functional security incidents. A strong understanding of common security frameworks, access governance models, and the vulnerability management lifecycle is also highly valued, as is the ability to translate operational findings into technical engineering requirements.
