The Information Security Awareness & Training Specialist will be instrumental in developing and executing strategies to cultivate a strong security culture. Utilizing the KnowBe4 platform, you will deliver engaging training, conduct simulations, and measure user behavior to report on program effectiveness. Collaboration with Information Security, HR, Compliance, Privacy, IT, and business stakeholders is key to ensuring widespread understanding and adherence to security policies and regulatory mandates.

Key responsibilities include managing the annual security awareness plan, administering the KnowBe4 platform, and designing role-based programs. You will configure campaigns, learning paths, and phishing simulations, while also managing user groups and automated workflows.

Develop compelling awareness communications, newsletters, and security advisories. Deliver training sessions, webinars, and workshops, and promote cybersecurity initiatives. Collaborate with communications and HR to maximize employee engagement and customize content for organization-specific risks.

Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, and other regulations. Generate regular management reports, track key metrics such as training completion and phishing failure rates, and present program effectiveness to leadership. Collaborate with HR, IT, and Incident Response teams to align awareness efforts with organizational needs.

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A minimum of 3–7 years of experience in Information Security Awareness, GRC, or Information Security is required.

Crucially, a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience administering the KnowBe4 Security Awareness platform is essential. Proficiency in Security Awareness Platforms such as KnowBe4, and related tools like KnowBe4 PhishER (preferred), is expected.

Strong knowledge of Security Awareness Program Management, Phishing Simulation, Security Culture Development, and Social Engineering Awareness is vital. Familiarity with Email Security, Information Security Policies, and Cyber Hygiene Best Practices is also a requirement for this role.
