As a Senior Engineer specializing in SDET, you will be instrumental in designing and constructing scalable, robust, and maintainable automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing across various applications. You will define and implement automation strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and rapid feedback, analyzing system architecture to ensure design for testability, scalability, and maintainability, and reviewing automation code and frameworks to uphold best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization. You will also mentor team members on automation tools, frameworks, and engineering best practices, and collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to align quality engineering practices with business goals.

This role requires 6-7 years of experience in Software Development in Test (SDET) with a strong foundation in mandatory skills such as API Automation using REST Assured, developing and creating automation frameworks, and a solid understanding of basic build, deployment, and CI/CD processes. Proficiency in test case creation and execution, test design practices including TDD, test reporting, and risk management is essential.

Key technical proficiencies include Core Java, JIRA for project tracking, Selenium for UI automation, and MS SQL for database interactions. Candidates should demonstrate ownership in driving quality initiatives, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communicate proactively, and be adept at adapting to changing requirements and testing priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of testing and defect management.
