Define and champion an enterprise-wide test automation and quality engineering strategy aligned with organizational objectives and digital transformation goals. Drive the widespread adoption of automation-first and shift-left testing methodologies to ensure early defect detection and enhance overall product quality.

Establish robust standards, governance models, frameworks, and best practices for SDET teams operating across multiple programs. Lead diverse, cross-functional teams in developing scalable, high-quality automation solutions for various platforms. Monitor and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics, including automation coverage, defect leakage, and release quality.

A seasoned professional with 8-10 years of experience in Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET), ideally in a lead capacity. Proficiency in mandatory skills including API Automation (REST Assured), Automation Framework Creation & Development, basic Build & Deployment, CI/CD knowledge, Test Case Creation and Execution, Test Design Practices (TDD), Test Reporting & Risk Management, Core Java, JIRA, Selenium, and MS SQL is essential.

This role requires strategic leadership to drive quality outcomes and foster a culture of automation excellence. Key responsibilities include defining quality strategies, leading teams in developing scalable automation solutions, and innovating with AI/ML-based testing. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, accountability, and collaborative skills, with the ability to make informed decisions balancing quality, timelines, and business needs.
