Define and implement enterprise-wide test automation and quality engineering strategies, aligning with organizational goals, scalability needs, and digital transformation objectives.
Champion automation-first and shift-left testing methodologies to ensure early defect detection and enhance overall product quality.
Establish robust standards, governance models, frameworks, and best practices for SDET teams across various programs.
Lead cross-functional teams in delivering scalable and high-quality automation solutions across multiple platforms.
Define, monitor, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics, focusing on automation coverage, defect leakage, and release quality.
Drive innovation in test automation, exploring AI/ML-based testing, self-healing frameworks, and advanced analytics.
Provide strategic leadership, mentorship, and direction to engineering teams, cultivating a strong culture of quality and continuous improvement.
A minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation.
Mandatory skills include expertise in API Automation using REST Assured, comprehensive Automation Framework Creation and Development, basic Build and Deployment knowledge with CI/CD understanding, proficiency in Test Case Creation and Execution, and solid Test Design Practices, particularly TDD.
Strong command of Core Java, Selenium, and MS SQL is essential for this role.
Additional experience with Playwright is advantageous.
Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders are crucial behavioral competencies.
