As an SDET Lead, you will spearhead the definition of enterprise-wide test automation and quality engineering strategies, aligning with organizational goals and digital transformation initiatives. You will champion automation-first and shift-left testing approaches to ensure early defect detection and enhanced quality. Establishing robust standards, governance models, and best practices for SDET teams across multiple programs will be key. Leading cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality automation solutions and defining, tracking, and improving quality KPIs and metrics are central to this role. You will also drive innovation in test automation, exploring AI/ML-based testing and self-healing frameworks, while providing strategic leadership and mentoring to engineering teams to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

This role requires 8-10 years of experience and proficiency in mandatory skills including Selenium, API Automation with REST Assured, Automation Framework Creation & Development, and basic knowledge of Build + Deployment & CI/CD. Expertise in Test Case Creation and Execution, Test Design Practices (TDD), Core Java, and MS SQL is essential. You should demonstrate leadership and accountability in driving quality outcomes, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders, and promoting a culture of automation-first and continuous improvement. Strategic thinking, informed decision-making balancing quality with business needs, and effective communication on quality status and risks are expected. The ability to build and mentor high-performing SDET teams through coaching and guidance is also crucial.
