Your role will involve working backward from customer needs to identify and develop optimal tools for superior quality and customer satisfaction. You'll spearhead test automation for critical projects, influencing test environments, reporting mechanisms, and the implementation of effective solutions. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in developing innovative test tools and possesses excellent judgment, balancing quality with strategic objectives.

Envision, develop, and deploy advanced GenAI tools, frameworks, and testing infrastructure to empower multiple teams and Amazon businesses. This includes analyzing requirements, evaluating testability, identifying automation opportunities, and implementing them for parallel project execution.

Lead and actively contribute to design reviews, test planning, and tool evaluations, fostering a unified test tool strategy across the organization. Drive initiatives to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, stability, extensibility, and scalability of test tools and technologies.

A minimum of 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience is required. You should also possess at least 2 years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including familiarity with design patterns, reliability, and scaling concepts. Proficiency in at least one software programming language is essential for this role.

Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of experience across the full software development life cycle (SDLC), encompassing coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is beneficial. Hands-on experience with GenAI tools for optimization and velocity is also highly regarded.
