Key responsibilities for this role include designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend systems using frameworks like Selenium and RestAssured. You will collaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

This position involves writing clean, modular, and maintainable test code, performing functional and regression testing, and analyzing test results to identify and resolve defects. You will also be responsible for enhancing automation coverage by converting manual test cases and actively participating in Agile ceremonies.

Continuous improvement is key; you'll contribute to identifying repetitive manual test cases and converting them into automated scripts. Active participation in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning and delivery estimation is also expected.

We are seeking an engineer with 4-5 years of experience in Software Development / Quality Engineering. Essential skills include API Automation with REST Assured, proficiency in Automation Framework Creation & Development, and a foundational understanding of Build, Deployment, and CI/CD processes.

Candidates should be adept at Test Case Creation and Execution, familiar with Test Design Practices like TDD, and skilled in Test Reporting & Risk Management. Strong programming skills in Core Java, experience with JIRA, Selenium, and MS SQL are mandatory.

Ideal candidates demonstrate ownership, accountability, and a quality-first approach. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial, along with adaptability to learn new testing tools and technologies. Effective communication regarding testing progress, risks, and quality concerns is essential. You should maintain attention to detail and work effectively in dynamic environments.
