Champion test infrastructure vision and develop frameworks enabling easy and reliable test writing for developers and SQA teams. Invent new mechanisms to ensure safe and rapid deployment of all changes. Solve complex challenges and mentor engineers to foster a culture of high standards.
Key responsibilities include understanding the system software ecosystem, developing QA strategies and tools, and creating test harnesses for audio. You will provide test infrastructure, act as a release stakeholder to ensure defect resolution, and develop/automate audio test plans. Monitoring and reporting on test execution and quality metrics are crucial, as is coordinating with offshore Quality Service teams for test execution and sign-off.
A minimum of 4 years of experience is required in building test automation frameworks and tools, alongside 4 years of professional software development testing experience. Proficiency in programming with modern languages like Java, C++, or C# with a strong foundation in object-oriented design is essential. Candidates must be skilled in Python, data structures, and algorithms, with expertise in audio test automation and methodologies.
Familiarity with various software technologies, methodologies, and applied software engineering practices such as Object-Oriented Design (OOD), cloud software development, and embedded software is expected. Deep hands-on technical expertise in automation, developing test frameworks, tools, and APIs is highly valued. Experience in Linux subsystems, audio testing, security, machine learning models, and quality assurance for consumer electronics is preferred, along with an understanding of AI models and agents.
