Your work will directly address significant barriers to international trade by automating manual, slow, and error-prone processes related to regulatory, labeling, and customs requirements. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with product owners, applied scientists, and engineers across the organization. You'll leverage AI and LLM-based solutions to tackle challenges impacting millions of sellers and products across diverse global marketplaces, languages, and regions.
As a key contributor, you will lead the design, implementation, and delivery of sophisticated software for the ExNav compliance and trade platform, always prioritizing seller needs in architectural decisions.
You will architect highly scalable services essential for validating listings and efficiently processing compliance and customs data across numerous international markets.
This role involves building innovative AI, ML, and LLM-driven solutions to extract structured data from product information, analyze images, and ensure compliance with dynamic regulatory standards.
Champion robust software development best practices, integrating established methodologies with cutting-edge AI-assisted tools to elevate code quality, testing rigor, and debugging efficiency.
Collaborate closely with product management, applied science, and partner engineering teams to translate requirements into actionable technical plans, serving as a primary technical contact for your project outcomes.
Proactively identify and propose new projects and system enhancements, establishing clear, quantifiable goals for quality, performance, and cost based on data-driven insights.
This role requires a foundational understanding of software development with a minimum of two years of professional, non-internship experience. A minimum of one year dedicated to the design or architecture of new and existing systems, encompassing design patterns, reliability, and scalability, is also essential.
Additionally, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification.
Preferred qualifications include over three years of experience across the full software development life cycle. This encompasses expertise in coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, comprehensive testing strategies, and operational deployment.
