Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a key component of EY's strategy, providing essential support to drive our growth agenda. Established in 2002, GDS has grown to over 80,000 professionals across ten global locations, delivering comprehensive services in Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge Support. Enablement Services within GDS focuses on delivering cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative solutions for EY’s global and local teams, encompassing areas like Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, and IT services.

As an Aera Techno-Functional Senior, you will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end lifecycle of Decision Intelligence solutions. This includes design, configuration, rigorous testing, and successful deployment. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate complex decision requirements into actionable data, logic, user experience components, and strategic actions.

Key responsibilities include gathering and documenting business processes, critical decision points, key performance indicators (KPIs), pain points, data necessities, and desired outcomes. You will translate functional requirements into detailed solution designs, encompassing data preparation, curated data views, business rules, recommendation engines, workflow automation, user interface design, and action execution.

Utilize your SQL expertise to profile, reconcile, transform, and validate data across various source and curated datasets. You will configure and rigorously test Aera solution components under the guidance of solution leads and architects. Prepare comprehensive test scenarios, execute unit and functional testing, provide support during user acceptance testing (UAT), and effectively resolve any identified defects.

Create clear and concise functional and technical documentation, including data mappings, logic definitions, assumptions, test evidence, and operational guidance. Foster collaboration with client teams, data engineers, developers, and project managers to effectively manage dependencies and mitigate delivery risks. Provide crucial support during production deployment, hypercare phases, issue triage, and drive continuous improvement initiatives for deployed solutions.

Furthermore, you will mentor junior team members, contributing to the development of reusable delivery assets and best practices. You will be responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, managing resources, and overseeing team management as required for efficient task execution. This includes allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring teams are equipped with the necessary tools and support, and evaluating performance to achieve organizational objectives.

A Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, business analytics, supply chain, operations, finance, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or MBA from a Tier 1 institute is highly preferred.

We seek candidates with over 5 years of comprehensive experience in technology consulting, analytics, enterprise applications, data solutions, or business process transformation. Proficiency in SQL is essential, including advanced skills in joins, aggregations, subqueries, data quality checks, and performance-aware query design.

Demonstrated ability to bridge business requirements and technical implementation in a techno-functional capacity is crucial. Experience with requirements gathering, solution design, testing, documentation, and effective stakeholder communication is expected. A solid understanding of data models, integrations, business rules, workflows, and enterprise application delivery processes is also necessary.

Ideally, candidates will possess prior hands-on Aera experience, making it a strong advantage. Experience in Decision Intelligence, supply chain, planning, procurement, manufacturing, commercial, or finance use cases is beneficial. Exposure to cloud data platforms, APIs, ETL/ELT, reporting, Python, or advanced analytics is a plus. Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery models and with distributed global teams is also desirable.
