As a Scrum Leader, you will act as a servant-leader, guiding teams in applying Scrum principles and practices. You will facilitate Scrum events, ensuring they are productive and timeboxed, while proactively identifying and resolving obstacles.
Key responsibilities include owning board health, ensuring readiness for refinement and sprints, and serving as an escalation path for impediments. You will also facilitate Scrum ceremonies, maintain accurate tools like Jira boards, and represent the team in cross-team forums.
Additional duties involve monitoring team velocity, coaching on its use for planning, and communicating scope changes or resource constraints. You will also drive process improvements, mentor the team in Agile practices, encourage self-organization, and facilitate conflict resolution. Empowering the team and managing product board health are crucial aspects of this role.
A strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies is essential, alongside excellent communication and collaboration skills. The ability to act as a servant-leader, fostering a positive and productive team environment, is paramount.
Experience with tools such as Jira for board management and tracking is expected. You should be adept at facilitating Scrum events, identifying and removing impediments, and engaging effectively with stakeholders.
This role requires a proactive approach to process improvement, team mentoring, and conflict resolution. You will be responsible for ensuring the team's focus, alignment with sprint goals, and continuous learning, ultimately contributing to high team satisfaction and engagement.
